Blogging?

Yup. That's what the world has come to. No more phone calls or letters. We'll all just keep in touch through blogs and emails. Works for me. I hate getting on the phone and updating people about my life after working all day. My beautiful wife and best friend Sandy feels the same way. And speaking of Sandy, for those of you who have seen her blog - http://www.sandykaighin.blogspot.com/- you already know that we got rid of our land line last week!

We're heading to Vermont tomorrow for a long weekend. We're taking the entire family, with the exception of Ellie - not because we don't love her as much as the other kids, but because Auntie Alison has offered to stay at the house and take care of her. That's nice. What's not nice is how the Red Sox' season has ended this year. I knew I should have applied for Theo's job back in January. I would never have let Johnny go. Same for Bronson Arroyo, though I always hated his hair. Oh well, with a WS Championship as recent as 2004, I guess I can live with the long off-season, unless the Yankees win it all again. That'll suck. By the way, my borderline obsession with the Sox is the reason behind my blog name (the CAM part is my initials). You'll read my thoughts about the hometown team frequently......


And being surrounded by everything "dog" isn't so bad. I think even Sandy is getting used to it. It's a labor of love. Thanks for being so understanding Sandy - you're the best! And Ellie loves you!
